Lindsey’s Hospitality House
We don’t use the word “treasure” very often. But damnit, Lindsey’s deserves every ounce of that word. Hidden in a relatively non-descript building just north of the Argenta Arts District in North Little Rock, Lindsey’s plates up finger-slurpin’ bbq pork ribs, sinfully good baked beans, greens and sweet potatoes, and truly soul satisfying pies in a casual setting with perfect service. Owner Donnie Lindsey’s father (the Reverend Bishop Lindsey) opened Lindsey’s back in 1956. Although it’s changed hands between family members a few times over the years, Lindsey’s appears solid as a rock and ready for the next 60 years. Lindsey’s is perfect for a delicious casual lunch. And check out their Friday jazz lunch with Curtis JJ Adams and the group Sounds So Good. Hard to beat that.
